driving myself crazy - one stitch at a time
Hi! I just bought some green/blue/brown woolly bully and am just starting my scarf. I'm wondering, did you just use the knit stitch, or did you use both knit AND purl? I'm a beginner knitter, so I can't really tell from your close-up image(I know purling usually makes a "V" shape...".) I can purl, so would include it if it's needed. Thanks!Karla, who lives in Manitoba and needs a warm scarf!
Karla:The whole thing was knit. Knit knit knit knit knit. Not a purl stitch in sight.I didn't bother doing any sort of fancy stitch, since the yarn is star of this show.Hope that helps,~Angela
Thank you! Just what I wanted to hear! I still prefer knit to purl! Thanks again!Karla
Hi,I would love to knit this scarf for my mother's 80th birthday. I have this exact color too!I wanted to know how many you cast on and did you use the #15 (10mm) needle to knit with? If not, what size needle did you use? How much yarn should be put aside for the fringe?thanks!
