ZOMG!

Okay, so someone (can't say who yet - it's a secret) saw my new handpainted yarn and wants to stock it.

One hundred and fifty skeins of it.

::squee::

Okay, but here's my dilemma:

I have to find a less-expensive-but-still-gorgeous yarn than the one I've been using (Louet) as:

$12 gross profit - $10 cost of yarn and dye + 4 hours of work = not a whole heck of a lot of cash.

So, here's my question: does anyone know a nice, inexpensive place to by undyed yarn?

Like straight from the mill, or whatever?

Maybe you could buy from Louet but at a wholesale price on cones rather than in skeins...

Jaggerspun sells in cones, but it's not the same spin/softness as the Louet...

I've heard people use Kona superwash too -- I'd look into that...

Boogie Knits offer's undyed Henry's Attic Yarns http://www.spunkyhats.com/acc_yarnbulk.htm

Good luck! It's a lot of work!!!

Michelle: I'm so pleased that there is (at least a little) intrest. How horrible to make a product that no one wants?

Jennie: Thanks!

Meghan: Thanks for sourcing for me. I ended up going with Henry's Attic, but I got it straight from the mill, so I got (what I think is) a pretty good deal.
